"For over 10 years, the subject matter for my work has often included imagery from “up north” including the North Shore. Northern Wisconsin, where I grew up, Minnesota’s Arrowhead, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and many places in Canada have all served as sources for work from the last decade. Although my oils and watercolors have also featured contrasting scenes from my urban surroundings and travels, I continue to return to, and find inspiration in elements of "North." |
